Dave Smyth is a young, energetic twenty nine year old wine lover who
enjoys creating special events for people to enjoy wine and food and
loves to share his passion for wine with the world. Dave has been
serving, studying and enjoying wine for the last 10 years.
Dave has spent many years working in the restaurant and bar trade
in Ireland, Canada and Spain and is currently studying for his Level
4 diploma in Wine and Spirits with the London based Wine and Spirit
Education Trust.
Dave hosts regular wine tasting events and runs wine appreciation
courses for the hospitality and licensed trade. Dave also hosts the
"Food and Wine Weekly" radio show every Friday morning at 11:30 on
the Q Network, 5, 6 and 7 FM right across Northern Ireland.
Dave has recently joined the executive committee of the Northern Ireland
Wine & Spirit Institute. |
